As I have written before, I've been more than ready for a while now for two new Democratic senators from Connecticut, so the announcement that Chris Dodd is not seeking re-election is good news indeed in my opinion.
The bad news, of course, is that Joe Lieberman will be our state's senior senator. Yikes!
Perhaps "Joe-mentum" can pull a Palin and resign -- so he can do a better job for his state by not serving.
Hey, a man can dream, can't he?
